A
brief description of emulator "is a program that
allows you to play videogames in your PC". Example:
A Sega Saturn emulator is able to run Saturn discs on a
PC. This way, Shining Force III and many others can be
played on a computer. Isn't that great? I won't detail
this too much, head to Zophar's Domain for more info on
emulators.
I've tested our dear game with the SSF emulator (0.04 alpha 4) and it worked nice... probably new versions of the emulator will run the game with improved graphics and sound, and hopefully faster framerate. My
system: Pentium III 450 MHz, 128 MB RAM, 8 MB
RAM 3D Accelerated Video Card, 48X CD-ROM, Windows 98 SE,
DirectX 7.0.
Note: you can get a screenshot on SSF by pressing F9 during emulation. Shots taken with SSF version 0.04 alpha 4, newer versions of the emulator will probably look better.
Loading Screen shown while the Saturn starts the game.
The title screen, very cool eh?
A bit buggy screen...background missing, etc. Medion being named.
A nice 3D rendered view on Saraband.
Perfect polygon and sprites drawing.
Grace and Masqurin in Saraband.
Masqurin... that's not fair! (note that the background in the left is missing)
Transparencies and background missing.
Perfect sprites and polygons, though.
